How is Repatha® given?1

Repatha® is given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous) using the SureClick® pre-filled pen. repatha-pen

Where in the body is the injection given?

The Repatha® injection can be given in the:1
  • Upper part of your thigh.
  • Stomach area (abdomen), except for a 2 inch (5 centimetres) area around your belly button.
  • Outer area of upper arm (only if someone else is giving you the injection).

How to self-inject with the Repatha® single use SURECLICK® pre-filled pen

This video is intended to help you feel confident when using your pen to inject Repatha®. It will guide you, step by step, through the self-injection process and demonstrate how, with practice, injecting can become a simple and routine part of your life.
If your doctor decides that you or a caregiver can give the injections of Repatha®, you or your caregiver must receive training on how to prepare and inject Repatha® correctly. Do not try to inject Repatha® until you have been shown how to do it by your healthcare professional.
